Podcast Directory

Realm Maintenance is not just about keeping you informed about the game, but also about the large and ever changing podcast community. Many of these podcasts have been a source of inspiration to me and I recommend checking out any and all of the following podcasts. (Note: These podcasts range from clean to explicit content.) My general rule for keeping a podcast in the directory is that they’ve produced an episode within the last 4-6 weeks. For a listing that expands beyond the current landscape of podcasts, check out http://www.wowpedia.org/Podcast.

(bold print simply indicates the show has been featured as the Podcast of the Week on an episode of Realm Maintenance)

Podcast Segment Creators

This part of the list is a major work in progress, as I’ll try to collect a list of all the amazing creators out there that put out a couple minutes of awesomesauce a week to spice up WoW podcasts. If you’re not on this list, send an email to RhoWoW@gmail.com and feel free to point me in the direction of your site, your segment, and the podcast it is featured on!

Thanks to WoW Insider’s Anne Stickney for her work on the Weekly Podcast Round-Up on WoW Insider for providing a large portion of this list. Credit for some of the above information also goes to Sayomara of Grand Old Podcast, who is also maintaining the Wowpedia podcast page mentioned at the top. Lastly, thanks to many of you podcast listeners and segment creators for your feedback via email or Twitter.

  1. You appear to have missed the ‘Happy Nerd Media’ premiere pod casts; The Guardian Tank”. I’m not affiliated with it, just like it. He had an issue with the upload changing so it appeared to fade, but is actually still trucking along when he can find a babysitter now that the spouse is deployed.

  2. The Starting Zone podcast just started back up. They were one of the first podcasts I ever listened to along with The Instance. They took a hiatus for a bit and are now back on the scene. It would be great if you could check them out.
